Pandemonium Ensues As Military Storms Oru Local Government In Search of ESN Members{Video}
The Nigerian military have reportedly stormed Oru East Local Government in Imo state, in search of members of the Eastern Security Network(ESN)who allegedly killed three military men during an heated exchange last week.
The eyewitness who pleaded anonymity revealed that the rancour began on Thursday 14th January, at Umantanze community when some suspected members of ESN allegedly shot and killed three members of the Nigerian military.
in a bid recover bodies of the allegedly killed soldiers, the Nigerian military reportedly sent heavily armed military men alongside some members of the Nigerian Police force to ransack the nooks and crannies of the community and other neighboring one’s in search of the ESN members.
The eyewitness who explained that he only managed to escape the siege while his relatives are still trapped in one of the community, called on the federal government to order a withdrawal of the heavy military presence at the said location before the issue escalates beyond control.
