Benin City On Red Alert As Over 100 Kidnappers, Criminals Escape From State CID, Residents Call On Obaseki To Act Now.

These are indeed troubling times for residents of Benin City as the security situation keeps deteriorating by the day.


Information reaching our news desk has it on good authority that the State Criminal  Investigation Department(CID) Headquarters in Benin City has been compromised. Over a hundred kidnappers and hardened criminals escaped from the facility.


As we peak all policemen on duty at the State CID as at the time of the jailbreak have been detained.


Benin City is currently witnessing a bloody cult war amidst a lacuna in the security in the State.


Recall during the #EndSARS Protest the two correctional facilities in the city capital experienced a jailbreak with no fewer than 1900 inmates fleeing the facilities.


Residents are fed up with the insecurity in the State and calling on Obaseki to act now.


From investigations carried out by our reporters, the security agencies in Edo Stae do not have functional vehicles and the necessary equipment to adequately combat crime in the State.


So if you sleep with your two eyes closed in Benin City then you are on your own.

In a recent tweet, Cuppy, whose real name is Florence Otedola, gave out the clue that she was a lonely person at the moment. “Not me!
