Comrade(Mrs.) Maryann Shaibu Perform Her Annual Women Empowerment Programme Across Edo North{Video}

The amazing amazon and amiable wife of the Deputy Governor of Edo state, Hon. Chief ( Comrade) Mrs. Maryann Shaibu had today being the 30th day of December, 2020, performed her annual Women empowerment programme across Edo North Senatorial District, which dates back to a decade ago, under the umbrellas of " Women on the Move Initiative, and the " Market Women"

Apart from the fact that the Non Governmental Organisation( NGO) in whose umbrella the initiative has thrived smoothly over the years, the 2020 edition was tagged " Special Empowerment Programme " in line with global best practices which ensured that  that the  forty( 40)beneficiaries objectively drawn from the Six(6) LGAs of the senatorial district are trained by financial management experts in a collaborative manner with our illustrious mothers in the persons of Hajia Marian......, Mrs. Magdalene Ohehen   and others, who ensured an holistic  selection of  beneficiaries  was objectively done in line the mantra of " You build a woman, you build a nation"

In her remarks, she admonished the Women under the aegis of " Market Women" and Women on the Move" to ensure that the items presented, which includes, hair dryers, grinding machines, refrigerators, bags of rice, Beans, palm oil, Kerosenes, tomatoes, and others, were judiciously and prudently managed in a synergical manner with a task force that would be put in place in that regard, with a view to ensuring that smiles are put in the faces of all Edo Women, with cash to rent business premises,  as the next batch of the empowerment billed for April, 2020 becomes strictly for the PDP familiar, wherein at least six( 6) women are expected to be drawn from  across the LGA.

The amazing amazon admonished them against the sales of their votes during elections as against their consciences during elections.

" I am indeed very grateful to my boss, Her Excellency, Mrs. Betsy Obaseki, who has graciously approved the edition of the programme the 2020 existing of the humanitarian service, while eulogizing the sterling qualities of Hon. Benedicta Ebuehi( Etsako East LGA Council boss) and other well meaning illustrious sons and daughters of the Senatorial district,  particularly in this period of economic recession.
