  A former PDP house of Assembly Candidate in 2019 General Election And A Frontline Politician in Edo State, Mallam Dada Abubakar has congratulated the Governor of Edo State, Godwin Obaseki, his Deputy, Comrade Philip Shuabu and the people’s Democratic Party, PDP over victory at the Supreme Court. Abubakar who described Obaseki’s victory as resounding also urged them to work for the benefit of Edo people. The Supreme Court on Friday struck out the appeal filed by the All Progressive Congress, APC over Alleged fake documents submitted to INEC during September 19, 2020 governorship election, which returned Godwin Obaseki of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, as Governor of Edo State, for lacking in merit. A Young girl gets caught After Giving A Baby hypo To Drink {Video}

An alarming number of Nigerian children are regularly being killed and used for ritual purposes by persons who ought to protect them, in the society.  As of yesterday, a young girl Identified as mmesoma has been nabbed after she gave a baby bleach to drink.  The girl when interviewed, Disclosed she was promised the sum of N20k by one Chisom to carry out the act. According to her, Chisom promised to give her the money after the baby has been confirmed dead. Mmesoma revealed that after she gave the baby hypo to drink, she and the baby's mother rushed to get a substance which would neutralise the effect of the substance. She admitted to knowing the baby’s mother,  but denied doing same thing to other babies under her care in the past. As of the time of filing this report, there has not been any Official statement recorded yet by police operatives. So far, a recent World Health Organisation report states that a high fraction of children, usually in their infancy age has been trafficked

  A young Nigerian lady has been badly brutalized by a group of young men for allegedly beating her boyfriend. In a video going viral on the social media, the lady could be heard crying for help as the men stripped her naked and beat her severely with wips. The unfortunate aspect of the whole thing is that her womanhood was not respected, beating her while naked and forced her to open her body. A voice could be heard from background saying, “you dey beat your boyfriend, pour am water" while she cried and begged for mercy. In the election which took place at Obi Wali Conference Centre, Port Harcourt, Chief Dan Orbih, who ran unopposed, emerged as the National Vice Chairman of the party in the zone. Other elected officers, who also did not have opponents, were Felix Omenu, Zonal Secretary; Anthony Ikuenobe, Financial Secretary; Evelyn Weke, Treasurer; George Turnah, Legal Adviser; Lloyd Owonaru, Youth Leader and Tessy Toru, Woman leader. Shocking: Children Thieves Apprehended For Theft, Robbery They Promises To Help The Police Track Other Culprits.{Video}

Four Children were arrested in connection with a rampant child theft and robbery in  Asoko, Ebutubuwa community, Delta state. In a video that went viral on different social media platforms, Two of the boys who were between the ages of 7-10 got arrested alongside two other younger children for the crime of stealing in their neighborhood. While speaking with the police, one of the children explained that they learnt how to steal from an adult who also sometimes led them into proper armed robbery by showing them how to use live ammunitions. He also promised to take the police to the special ammunitions hideout by the gangs while also disclosing the identity of some of the thieves known during the burst out Watch Video Below:

Hundreds of Thousands Swell Myanmar Protests Against Coup {Photos}

Unknown Gunmen Kill Scores of Policemen, Set Vehicles Ablaze in Anambra {Video}

Some men of the Anambra Police Command met with an untimely death earlier today, as unknown gunmen stormed Nkpologwu,Aguata and Omogho Orunmba North area of the state, to open fire on the policemen at different checkpoints, killing and destroying vehicles at the scene. The incident which appeared to have happened simultaneously saw the unknown gunmen attack the policemen on duty, leaving some dead while others barely escaped with thier lives. According to videos making rounds on social media from the scene of the incident, some police men where found lying in thier own pool of blood with their vehicles burnt beyond recognition. An eye witness at the Nkpologwu scene, explained that the unknown gunmen came in a jeep, parked and  opened fire at the policemen on duty, killing two of them on the spot,while about three policemen ran away.   A 30 year-old-man, Lanre Aremu, has been arrested by the Police in Kogi for allegedly raping a 96-year-old grandmother, Ige Samuel in Iyara, Ijumu Local Government Area of the state. Parading the suspect before newsmen at the state Police Command Headquarters on Wednesday in Lokoja, Mr Samuel Ojo, the Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) in charge of Criminal Investigation, said the act was an abomination, ungodly and inhuman. The daughter of the victim told newsmen that the incident happened when most of the residents were in Church. She said the suspect forcefully pushed her mother into the room and raped her, adding that she was alarmed when her mother suddenly started behaving funny and speaking incoherently after the incident. One of the sons of the old woman, who is in his 60s, said the incident happened because the woman’s nanny had travelled to Ekiti. Imo state government has arrested Ex-governor, Rochas Okorocha,for leading a group of thugs to vandalize and destroy security vehicles and properties of the state government in retaliation to the news that one of his properties have been sealed. In a video that went viral on social media, Okorocha was seen handcuffed alongside one of his accomplice while being led to the state's criminal investigation department for further interrogation. Our source gathered that the senator led  some groups of armed thugs to break into the property of the state government, destroying security vehicles and other valuables in retaliation to the sealing of his Royal spring Palm Apartment by the government. Father And Son Arrested For Cattle Rustling In Benue Claim Cows Destroyed Their Farm Produce

Livestock Guards in Benue State have arrested a farmer, Mr. Atsagba Ukua and his son for rustling six cows from herdsmen.   Special Adviser to the Governor on Security Matters, retired Colonel Paul Hembah who disclosed this on Saturday, while briefing journalists, said the suspects were arrested on their way to the cattle market in North Bank, Makurdi to sell the rustled cows.     He explained that upon interrogation by Livestock Guards who were on routine patrol, the suspect said the cows destroyed his farm produce and out of anger, he took laws into his hands by impounding the animals in order to sell as compensation for his damaged farm produce.   According to the Security Adviser, the ranching law of the state forbids acts of self help, hence the need to hand over the suspects to the Police for prosecution while the rustled cows would be handed over to the leadership of Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association for onward presentation to the owner.

A man named Braxton Walker took to Facebook to reveal what his work place did when he informed them that he's a cross-dresser.   To allow him gain access into the building no matter how he's dressed, he was given two ID badges, one with his face while he's dressed in female clothes and a wig and another with him dressed as a man.   He shared both badges to Facebook and his post quickly went viral with people praising his work place for inclusivity. He later returned to Facebook to write: "Lol. I woke up and my face was all over the Internet."   He attributed the reaction he got from his workplace to equality, writing: "And that's on equality."

A popular male and female preacher, who reportedly went separately to share the word of God at the Ikeja bus stop in Lagos state Nigeria, threw caution to the wind as they fought for a preaching spot in the area. Nigerian Lady Cries Out On Twitter After She Was Physically Assaulted By Her Boss {Photos}

A Nigerian lady took to Twitter to narrate how she was physically assaulted by her boss while accusing him of exploiting her.  The lady with the username @Onyinye, said she worked as a digital marketer, content creator, social media handler and a graphics designer.  She also claimed that she was also a food buyer, office cleaner and a plate washer which was not part of her job description. A legal practitioner, and Orlu community resident, Barrister Kingsley Ogbonna has cried out against what he describes as “unconstitutional and inhuman” treatment of residents of Orlu community by the military men saddled with the responsibilities of ensuring compliance to the state’s curfew order. Tragedy: A 65-Years-Old Man Allegedly kills His Wife, Son And Himself In Anambra {Photos}

A 65 years old hunter, know as, UNweke, has allegedly killed himself, his wife, and their son in the Amunike community of Anambra state on Thursday January 28.   A statement by the spokesperson of the state police command, Mohammed Haruna, says the police received a report from the chairman of the vigilante group in Amunike community in Awka North LGA of Anambra State that at about 3am today, the hunter allegedly shot his 55 years old wife Patricia Nweke with a single barrel gun and also burnt his house along with his 29 years old son named Obinna Nweke in circumstances yet to be ascertained. Haruna added that the hunter equally shot himself using the same gun.   The police spokesperson said police detectives attached to Achalla police station visited the scene and rushed the victims to Uche hospital Isuanocha where they were confirmed dead on arrival.  See Photos below:  

Beaking: Gunmen Kidnap Imo Lawmaker's Aide {Video}

Gunmen suspected to be kidnappers have abducted an aide to a lawmaker representing Oru West Constituency in Imo State House of Assembly, Dominic Ezerioha. The victim, identified as Chetachi Linus Igboenyesi, popularly known as London Biggy, was reportedly kidnapped at about 11:35pm on Tuesday, January 26, while on his way to Uli community in Anambra State.  In a video taken from the kidnap scene, eyewitnesses said the gunmen shot and shattered the victim's car window and then whisked him away to an unknown destination.
