MAINTAINING A HEALTHY VAGINA

The vagina is an elastic, muscular canal with a soft flexible lining that provides lubrication and sensation. The vagina connects the uterus to the outside world. The vulva and labia forms the entrance and the cervix of the uterus protrudes into the vagina forming the interior end.
Hymen is a thin membrane of tissue that surrounds and narrows the vaginal opening. It may be torn or rupted by sexual activity or exercise.
The vagina is designed to keep itself clean with the help of natural secretion called discharge. A good vagina health is maintained by making sure you are in good general health. Every woman has a natural vaginal scent that can change throughout her cycle and every healthy vagina makes discharge. The normal vaginal discharge is clear and odorless.
FUNCTIONS OF THE VAGINA
Provides a passage way for mucosal tissue from the uterus during a woman’s monthly period
Receives the penis during sexual intercourse
Provides a passage way for child birth.
Maintaining a healthy vagina will help prevent infection and unusual discharge
Use 100% cotton under clothes
Wash new under clothes before wearing
Wash and rinse under clothes carefully
Avoid wearing thongs
Avoid using douches unless prescribed by a doctor
Wash the area around the vagina with clean water and unscented soap.

Causes of loose vagina: First thing first, there is nothing like a loosed vagina. Naturally, the vagina is elastic and is designed to accommodate things coming in (penis, sex toys) or going out (baby) of it, irrespective of its size and it won’t take long, for the vagina to snap back to its previous shape. The vagina becomes slightly loose as one age or has children but the muscle expands and retracts like a rubber band
