Barely a month after the Lekki massacre that shook the nation to its foundation, accussations and counter-accussations have been flying around regarding what really happened on the night of October 20.
DJ Switch, a Nigerian disc jockey and a musician was at the scene of the Lekki massacre and reportedly streamed happenings live that night. That live streaming and the interviews granted to media houses, have become the bone of contention between the federal government and Nigerians.
The government have so far denied everything said by DJ Switch and were almost making a lot of Nigerians doubt DJ Switch's account, until CNN released an investigative video regarding the events that took place that night.
This video according to Eedris Abdulkareem, has vindicated DJ Switch.
"Those who claimed DJ Switch lied all through, should ask for God's forgiveness" Eedris, the Jagajaga crooner said in defence of Switch.
With a Lagos judicial panel set up by the Lagos state government to unravel what happened on the night of the Lekki massacre, one can only genuinely hope that the whole truth would be known soon.
