Early Technology Adoption Will Promote Economic Growth, e-Govt’

Participants at the Nigeria e-Government Summit 2020 have stressed the need for early adoption of technology and increased ICT infrastructure across the country to promote economic growth and e-Government. The summit, which was held in Lagos recently and organised by DigiServe, had the theme: COVID-19: Impetus for Accelerated e-Government Adoption. The Executive Chairman, Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS), Mr. Muhammad Nami, who was represented by the Coordinating Director, FIRS, Mr. Femi Oluwaniyi, said the COVID-19 pandemic, even though it took the world by surprise, brought about the importance and need for technology adoption that would keep citizens in tune with the new normal, where meetings and conferences are now held online and government activities are more accessible online

Life may not be as rosy as it ought to be, if Dj Cuppy’s tweet is anything to go by. In a recent tweet, Cuppy, whose real name is Florence Otedola, gave out the clue that she was a lonely person at the moment. “Not me! (I was) up at 2:29am wishing I had someone to cuddle with” Dj Cuppy tweeted, indicating she was lonely. It would be recalled that recently, the ‘Gelato’ crooner, accused Zlatan, who she featured on the song, of blocking her on his social media accounts. She felt so pained of being blocked by Zlatan, that she had to voice out. Zlatan however, has not replied her question yet, leading to rumours that both Cuppy and Zlatan, are not enjoying a rosy relationship at the moment.
