Ingredients needed

- Akamu bag ( the one that looks like pillow case) or cheese cloth* a refrigerator* a bowl* an air tight container* water
Procedure
- Get your groundnut and clean up the fine skin layer I.e the onionic colour cover. ( pls get the one that has no shell) #1800 for 1paint. To clean the back, fry the groundnut on a low heat for few minutes and wash.
2. Pour the groundnut in a neat bowl and soak for 15minutes with warm water to help soften it.
- Drain the groundnut with a sieve and blend with a blender or take to a local mill if its big. If you are taking yours to the local mill, be sure the grinding machine is warmed before grinding. Add like 2 spoons of water if necessary and blend till paste like form is achieved.
- Pour the blended groundnut paste into a tight container and refrigerate for 24 hours. By then, the oil must have come up.
- Bring it out after 24 hours and separate the oil from the paste . On a low heat, fry the oil to dry out the water if there be any.
6. With an Akamu cloth or a cheese cloth, drain the paste like form batter and repeat the process of drying the extract on a low heat.
- Put the oil in a tight container and it’s ready for use.
Hope this helps this Christmas. Good luck
