Meet Lady Who Is A University Graduate And Choose To Be A Native Doctor (Photos)

A Nigerian young lady identified as Ebere Asonibe is a graduate who chose to become a native doctor due to circumstance beyond her. Ebere said she decided to follow the path of a native doctor because that was the path her ancestors wanted her to tread. The lady added that her dead ancestors were making life miserable for her because she was adamant on not continuing with her great-grandmother's profession as an herbalist. In a report by Information Nigeria, Ebere said her ancestor will come to her in a vision and show her herbs and where to locate them, and when she goes into the bush in the morning she will see the exact herbs. According to the young lady, different men of God tried to deliver her but all to no avail. She said she decided to do what her ancestor wanted when she could not win the battle. She is now a known herbalist who uses herbs to treat different diseases. See pictures below:

Lady slaughters, butchers biological mother in Akwa Ibom (Photos/Video)

A woman residing at Ikot Ekpene local government area of   Akwa Ibom State   has slaughtered her biological mother. It was gathered that the incident took place where they both resided and pictures and videos from the scene have since circulated online. Even though accounts of what transpired between the lady and her mother that culminated to the dastardly act still remain sketchy, the visibly unremorseful lady could be heard telling security agents to take her anywhere they please as she was not bothered. Eyewitnesses at the scene said the lady, whose identity is still unknown, chopped her mother’s body just like pieces of meat. The video footage captured a large crowd at the scene and pictures showed how irate youths made her carry the pieces of her mother’s body inside a basin on her head. LAGOS: Teacher Allegedly Beats Student To Death Over Maths

A teacher has allegedly beaten his student to death in Lagos over maths quiz. A Twitter user has alleged that a Lagos teacher beat his junior brother to death over the boy’s failure to correctly answer a question asked of him during their mathematics session. The man, whose Twitter handle identified him as Ridwan Oyewunmi, on Friday narrated the incident, which he claimed involved one Elihans College in the Ikorodu area of Lagos. Mr Emmanuel(frame 1)is a sec school teacher at Elihans college, Ikorodu in Lagos He beat up my brother Boluwatife Omelaja(frame 2) to death on 26th of November in the school premises because he couldn’t answer a math question he was asked correctly. A Nigerian man has been accused of stabbing his wife to death for refusing to register her new car in his name, Rabsreporters Reports,  Facebook user, Ngozi Ikebuaso alleged that the man carried out the act with the help of his 16-year-old nephew. It was learnt that the deceased refused registering the car in the man’s name, on grounds of him not paying her bride price even though they’ve been co-habiting for 8 years. Ngozi Ikebuaso wrote on Facebook; “A man with the help of his 16 years old nephew stabbed his wife to death because she refused to use his name in her new bought car documents. The woman said she can’t use his name on the documents because the said man never paid her pride price ( they are just leave in lovers. Di na nwuye ndi Lagos)and have not married her after living together for 8 years. They locked her in immediately she came back from shop and killed her. BREAKING: ASUU finally agrees to call off strike after 8 months

The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) have agreed to call off their 8-month-old strike after the Federal Government agreed to give the union to N70bn, Rabsreporters  is reporting. The decision followed a meeting between ASUU and the government team led by Minister of Labour and Employment, Chris Ngige, in Abuja, on Friday. The ASUU had on March 26, 2020, embarked on a nationwide strike to demand “revitalisation allowance”, earned academic allowances, renegotiation of the 2009 agreement, visitation panels, among other demands including the payment of lecturers using the Integrated Personnel and Payroll Information System (IPPIS) which the Union kicked against. Just last week, ASUU told students and their parents not to expect the suspension of its ongoing strike soon. The Governor of Imo State, Hope Uzodinma, has urged political actors in opposition parties to join the ruling   All Progressives Congress   (APC) or remain ‘hungry’. Uzodinma said this in Abuja on Friday in reaction to the defection of  David Umahi , Ebonyi State Governor, who recently dumped the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for the APC, adding that Umahi “quickly understood that joining the ruling party will take his state out of hunger”. “Once you believe in Nigeria and you have a pan-Nigeria attitude, of course, you will go for a national party. Trouble looms in Federal Civil Service as Accountant-General refuses to retire after active service

After the successful completion of his 35 years of active service and attaining the age of 60, Organised Labour under the aegis of Association of Senior Civil Servants of Nigeria (ASCSN), on Thursday, vowed to occupy the office of the Accountant-General of the Federation, Alhaji Ahmed Idris, in Abuja until he vacates office. According to a statement by ASCSN’s Secretary-General, Comrade Alade Bashir Lawal, the Accountant-General clocked 60 on November 25, 2020, and should have vacated office on that day. Rabsreporters reports that ASCSN alleged the Accountant-General has been boasting that he is “going nowhere because he is close to Mr President who facilitated his promotion to that office, and as such he could not be subjected to guidelines on retirement in the Civil Service”. According to the Union, their members had already been mobilised and would storm the Accountant-General’s office any time soon and force him to proceed on retirement.
